A Friend and a Father.

In the beginning he was always there,
To make the laughter that caused us tears.
The second father to everyone,
Through out their growing years.

He would always call you "tack head",
If he thought you had wronged.
An original Rocky Ripple River Rat,
And he knew where he belonged.

He was always such a strong man,
But even a strong man bends.
When he got sick ,
A sorrow hovered over his Ripple friends.

A part of Ripple died that night,
The night he passed away.
An original Rocky Ripple River Rat,
Became a legend that day.

This is for him,
He was a great man, indeed.
He is always loved,
He is Byron W. Reed
